life has a way of making you live it.
& I’m been LIVING, man. but with the good, bad, ugly and beautiful, there’s always inspiration. it seems since I’ve been on this musical journey, I never stopped writing. you just never not experience things. & soon, I’ll be ready to display a culmination of thoughts, emotions and stories through 2 projects anticipated to be release early and late 2012. I’ve been working with Dominic Fallacaro, (keyboard powerhouse!!!) since about march-april of this year. He’s been helping extract all the melodies and instruments in my head on to 44.1 khz format. it’s always weird working with someone for the first time. I never like the idea of becoming vulnerable and the first few sessions where challenging for me. it’s like you are protecting your kids or something. as time went on, we gelled and the music literally poured out. between the two projects, there’s about 16 confirmed tracks. I’ve enlisted the help of my good friend Mike Judeh on the engineering/mixing/producing tip. still rounding out the rest of the personnel but I’m off to a good start.
FreeEP & Conquer Evil, The Demon are, what feels like, my opus magnum… I believe the last song I wrote for CETD was a tune called “The Real Thang”, which I wrote back in 2010. Every time I had a new thought, I recorded it on my phone. It’s interesting hearing how a particular idea manifested into what it is now. crazy. The earliest track I probably wrote in late 2006- early 2007. it’s been THAT long. I finally “feel” done writing, well for these projects, at least. so here’s the “official (as of 10/26/11)” tracklisting.
